Psychodynamic Supervision

I work as a clinical supervisor for a number of organisations providing supervision for both individuals and groups.

I
supervise trainee psychotherapists and trainee counsellors and clinicians employed in a variety of roles and settings as well as supporting psychotherapists in private practice.

In the supervision work, I endeavour to focus on how the psychotherapist can listen to the client's story and how to follow the different ways in which the client may communicate their needs.  By recognising their countertransference experience, the psychotherapist learns how to attune themselves to the different ways communication plays out and to the client's patterns of relating in the world.
